Founded in 1975
Friends of Historic Girard a local Historical group deeded the property in 2017. The museum organization was started in 1975 but was no longer active. FHG agreed to accept the property and began repairing the buildings and inventory and displaying the many holdings.
We now have the church building repaired and many displays available to visitors. Our Marvin Green building just opened up an office, work area, and welcome entrance with items for sale and viewing. It is rewarding for us all to see the progress we made to share with our visitors.
